Welcome to the website for Design for Social Entrepreneurship, an advanced industrial design studio taught at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). In it’s second year, this studio aims to prepare students to become leading practitioners and thinkers in the area of design-based social business and non-profit entrepreneurship. We seek to turn the worlds of business and philanthropy on their heads and create new tools for addressing problems that have been neglected by traditional models for action.
From March through June 2010, this website will feature polished documentation of student work, as well as video-taped lectures and presentations.
